In the latter stages of the Korean conflict the US Army saw the need for units of “Special Forces” and it was then that the legendary Green Berets were conceived and formed. Under the leadership of “Bull” Symons and with the aid of other outstanding officers under his command, the US Army Special Forces Green Berets were formed in 1952 and they remain to this day as one of America’s elite military forces and easily identified by their famous “silver wings”
As the Green Berets celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2002, bbi is proud to present this limited edition collector set offering both the modern and original adaptations of this outstanding military group.
